I'm not sure about the other players mentioned but it's certainly true of Rance. he gets SC scores way in advance of his DT scores because he does things that score highly in SC and not at all in DT. Such as spoils, knock-ons, other 1%ers and of course the bonuses that come with lots of intercept marks and effective disposal.
