As you know, one very very basic thing u learn is not do kneejerk trades for avge guys based on a biannual big score..eg Howe/Viney. Sort out the rooks missed and finetune. Yeah that didnt work .

NN owners now dont have much choice but to keep the faith. I can perhaps keep faith in Bont, but i need some backs that can see ball get ball. I have the worst backline in the known universe. I dont think NN will survive the week.

I still think that over the course of 17 Rds Bont and Neale will both end up averaging 115-120
Speaking of rucks, Goldy played 100% TOG on the weekend.

Yeah huge. But had him a cpl times over the yrs and always seem to pick his down seasons. He's now the Keith Richard of the rucks. Can still play but older than dirt. I cant do it despite the TOG proving the opposite of old.
When Naismith and Pittonet can go 120-130+ it makes a mockery of NN...who was chosen as a cheaper option who SHOULD travel only 10ppg less than Gawn at R2.

Think everyone has gone a bit nuts with the 'Not a normal year' stuff and that will see people 12 trades down and no net improvement before they know it. It'll still be rookie cash that gets you there.

I was already bringing Pittonet in, to cover Naismith! If Grundy misses then instead of turning Cavarra into Pittonet by moving Cameron into the forwards, I'll have to trade Naismith out and play Pittonet and Cameron R1 and R2. Fricken nightmare. Some folk reckon Grundy will be fine and expect him to train tomorrow. Fingers crossed
