Philips tearing up the VFL today strong chance to come in
Impey needs another week.
Morris could come in for Scrimshaw?

In: Philips, Lynch
Out: Scrimshaw

Lynch needs to come in to help Reeves out, Reeves hardly managed 60% TOG.

He cant show any less than Finn

They’re not fighting for the same spot though. With Impey and Bramble edging closer to a return, Maginness will find it tough given he’s playing in a position in which we have strong depth. Long would be fighting for a spot as an inside midfielder.

Should fair a lot better in the middle against the saints. Being semi competitive will help our forwards.

Saints have some good marking targets but given how poor some of saints disposal is we should be able to limit their damage as long as we don’t let the saints get too many inside 50’s.

I’m hoping to see some improved disposal after the blues game.

Impey a chance, Phillips aswell even Shiels (move Harry or Finn down back if Finn doesn't go out.)

Scrim out.

Lynch a chance and probably needed with the tall Saints?

Don't like dropping players after a game but Howe is completely killing our fast ball movement. Playing to a different tune.

Finn is not quite ready for mine. Would prefer him getting some serious midfield minutes at BHH.

Reeves was fine. A stagnant midfield group was a bigger issue
Reeves has been a constant with our issues every week in the centre. Last week there was a stat on here on centre clearances where with Reeves it was 3-12 with McEvoy 5-6. Another belting in there today.
Lynch is more the McEvoy type who would do better on Marshall while Reeves will do better on Ryder

I wouldn’t be against dropping Wingard. Other than a decent 5mins against north, a reasonable first half against Port, he’s really been average. Offered very little today. If it’s standards we’re driving, then maybe dropping him sends a message to all.

But really it’s scrimshaw, Howe and probably Maguiness out, Phillips, Lynch (if fit) in.

Happy for Long too. Let’s keep trying the kids

Shame for Maguiness, but he struggled today.
