I think I will take a risk and go with a certain bald superstar not called Kerr and rhymes with Yablett.

Ablett vs Lions
Pendlebury vs Port, coming off a poor game
Boyd vs Melbourne
Selwood vs Richmond

My 4 options. Ablett for me.

Ablett vs Lions.

No Simon Black, This could get ugly.

Lions to win the game though ;)

Ablett performed poorly against the Bombers last year and then this year scored about 1000 points. So his record at the Gabba is of no concern to me and will be locked in to the Captaincy once again.

Im not sure im willing to risk going something different to Ablett. Did that last 2 weeks and has cost me 74 points so far. I could live with the 4 in round 2 but the 70 in round 3 hurt a little and 2100+ would've been nice.

Strongly considering Boyd vs Melbourne although Ablett vs Brisbane is also good.

I'm surprised more aren't putting the C on Thompson.

There have been some big numbers from midfielders against GWS:

Scott Selwood 150
Bastinac 134
Bird 127
Adams 125
Anthony 121
Shuey 120
Masten 120
Jack 115

I would say more people would be going Thompson if Ablett hadn't just had 3 40+ disposal games.

4 if you take into account Rd 24 last year! (43 possies = 147DT)

What are the odds of him having FIVE 40+ disposal games in a row? Surely that would be a record?

I just think that 5 x 40+ possies in a row may even be beyond the great man*

*nah

He actually broke the record last week with three in a row (they didn't count last season's). I'm still going with Thommo, I just can't see how he will score under 130. The less people that put the c on him the better!

I'm going with Thommo as well. :) Time to roll the dice if you really want that FR! :thumbsu:

While most are going Ablett, Pendlebury vs Port is very very tasty.

I recon he will bounce back big time.

Another one if Boyd vs Melbourne, i expect another big performance from him.

Hmmmm tough choices this week, not sure if i can ignore Ablett's dominance though.

i dont have the statistics

but if i remember correctly, pendles doesnt really tear up against port. Swan on the other hand would be worth a shot

120 and 121 the last two times v Port.

I'm just worried the Crows will rest Thommo and sub him off if we get a big lead

But i can get Ablett in this week, so i'd wanna make him captain surely?

I don't think he will get subbed off, they didn't do it against GC last year and surely If he's on track for the possession record they won't sub him off ;) He will probably reach the ton by half time anyway ;)

I'm going Boyd against the Demons, Ablett didn't score well in his two games against Brisbane last year, Raines usually keeps him fairly quiet, or I could just keep it on Pendles against Port, should rack it up without Thomas in the middle

Or he could get extra attention. Doesn't really matter anyway, he will smash it :thumbsu:

Is anyone of the least concerned about Raines tagging Abblet? Kept him below 100 last year.

It sure is making me think twice, although the only other confident option I have is Pendlebury although that too is on shaky ground after being stung by him last round.
