Too many fumbles and the continual issue with our list is coming into play. We simply lack leg speed across the ground.
When our contested game gets shut down and we can not kick mark we get beaten to the footy. Sides just cut us up going the other way. Geelong have been able to get numbers back and still manage to run the footy. We seem to have pumpkins for heads so far.

I’m really struggling to understand how these Essendon forwards can’t kick the ball (with the wind behind them) further than 30m.
Nanscawen’s kick at the end there was genuinely deplorable and whilst I know it’s windy and she’s a midfielder that kick has got to be better than that.

They’ve got to be able to the basics better if they’re going to be successful.
