he was having treatment on it mid game. only laid 2 tackles for the game and had a 2:1 handball to kick ratio...Is that a joke? There are plenty of lines to respond with if it is
I think JOM to ANB is quite a decent trade. Neal-Bullen should average more, has a slight chance of being a keeper, has a great role in a high scoring team and his BE is 70 points lower than O'Meara's this week. They are both getable and value depending on circumstances.
You have to look at it in points if rank is important, and if profit is more important.... then be compared to expected output.
Because generally to get a surging mid pricer at this point. It either means. You have a cash stockpile at a stupid time to have unspent cash. Or you are sideways trading. Or combining that with trading out a mid who is still earning in order to downgrade an on field player and pray on a rookie.
Points are important. But not ruining a good strategy is more important than chasing a particular player at the cost of another earning player.
These particular trades can become very costly along the way

Currently i am contemplating this. Im definitely not sold on the idea yet, but as far as sideways swap for cash generation aswell as a possible points increase...So what are you recommending?

Solid trades.Pretty well locked as newman and abn for jom and eddy
High half forward, bit on wing. I think if Lyon uses him right he will be a solid scorer, kills it in WAFL. Never know with Lyon though..I didn't catch the game on Saturday but do you reckon he bounces back this week?
Was he playing in the guts?
No. Not technically. But only if you dont have too many holes that need filling. Realistically he will earn about $100k in the next month. Even with a bad performance or two.Is it too late for the WHE train?

Its still a sideways trade though. So there is always a risk vs reward involved
Not sideways.
Plan is to trade Hannan/florent out and move Nank to the forward line and field preuss and then trade Taranto to WHE. I thought I could afford Nroo but I'm like 30k short so looking for other options.
No other real issues in my team apart from JOM. Could instead keep Taranto and upgrade JOM with 260k.
ANB or Swallow?
ANB leaves me an extra $100k but Swallow a better scorer in the long term?
Also bringing Swallow in means JOM would be my M8 and apart from him I can leave my mids alone for a few weeks.
Also are people contemplating the Nank fwd/playing Pruess move without a ruck reserve?
Gawn will go to Grundy next week, barring forced trades. As brave as that is, Max is out for 12w so you will have a lot of $ on the bench for half your season
Trade 1 for me.i've got a dilemma, trying to get rid of my rooks that don't play. (smith & hibberd) thinking about this trade. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Eddy is a near certainty to get dropped.Going Stewart to Newman
And Parker to Murphy
Thinking next week then O'Meara to merret think O'Meara will hit his be and Zac will fall short
Ryder to the pine for pruess
Only real concern is if Houston or Eddy gets dropped
Depends on what we do with Ryder imo, they bring in lobbe I agree for sure, but if they don't I think he'll surviveEddy is a near certainty to get dropped.
Gone with Kreuz over Spencer as Gawns replacement. Both have 47 BE.
Alright... would appreicate some second opinions.
Touhy > Hampton, JOM > Watson. (44k spare)
Touhy > Burton, JOM > Watson. (0 Spare)
list of underperformers in my team for price.
Greene, Steele, Dahl, McGrath.
Thanks for the reply, like every DT'er Im constantly changing my mind... I think JOM will generate enough money if not become a regular 80-120 player, my gut tells me I can afford Jobe for him later.I would go with Hampton personally, he has a BE of like -5, so he still has plenty of money left to be made, however Burton will probably end with a higher scoring average, and with a BE of 2 he also has plenty of money left to be made. Real cant go wrong with either one, just depends if you value cash generation or scoring more
