If S.D.Thompson or J.Edwards don't get a game this week it may force my hand to do the dreaded sideways trade.

Browny and BJ will be discussed in 'Round 5/6 trades'.

I might sidways trade my backline with 3 0 scorers forcing my hand.

Put up with it this week and got 2272 or somthing so a player in there could have helped.

Only other trade on my mind is Burton out for Brad Johnson in round 5 with johnson needing lots to break even and burton going up pretty much no matter what his score

I got 300k in the bank but I'm saving it for my Tippet/Birdman to Browny/BJ upgrades after rounds 5 and 6.

I really want Chappy... not sure how to get him though.

Many people are saying they aren't trading this week, with the 'cash cows' prises now rising after this round is there any reason people are still reluctant to trade?

Because cash cows don't rise to their full potential after one price change, it will take another 5-7 rounds before that happens and maybe even less for some of them.

Funny, I made a relatively late change to my original team plans (0 trades so far) after reading your discussion with Walesy(?) on how essential Chappy was to a SC team (dal likewise). Made sure i added them both...

Can't remember who I dropped now to make the trades although I think Kosi was one of them (a little lucky).

Can't say it's worked out badly so far so i'm grateful for that!

lol yeh Chappy has been a star for me in days gone by (being last season) however Walsey convinced me that he was underdone and he'd get cheaper. lol can't blame Walsey though, we all make our own luck.

Probably only the one sideways (shock horror) trade for me this week. Things will really spice up the following week.

Thats my problem exactly. I had Taylor and Thompson before Round 1 lockout and swapped Taylor for Edwards because he wasn't named.

Taylor is scoring well so I'm seriously considering the dreaded sideways trade and getting Taylor in for Thompson, however I'm worried Taylor won't get any games soon. I don't care if he's dropped when Egan gets back because thats enough time to make me the cash, but getting dropped after 3 games would suck.
