MVP Round 4 Votes vs Essendon

Not sure anybody's in the mood right now but for posterity's sake, here it is.

Honestly struggling to come up with 3 names to give votes to, let alone 5 + 1.

5. Marc Murphy: quieter by his standards but kicked a brilliant goal and created a couple others with great vision
4. Heath Scotland: got a lot of the footy and used it well
3. Eddie Betts: kicked the 4 of our 7
2. Lachie Henderson: thought he was our best defender
1. Chris Judd: battled manfully, scored an important goal and tried to lift us

ROTY: Tuohy best of a poor bunch. Lucas started well but burnt the footy

Waite misses out due to misses and poor disposal.

5. Murphy - was our best player by some margin
4. Scotland - used the ball well, but was a little off his usual output
3. Simpson - could have been the matchwinner if he had nailed all of his gettable shots on goal
2. Henderson - too good for Hurley, who seems to have plateaued somewhat
1. Judd - kept trying to break the game open, but was constantly frustrated by niggling tactics

BYP - Lucas, best of a bad bunch, could have been in the votes if he used the ball better

Hendo was absolutely outstanding in a terrible day. Murphy was passable. No one else deserves votes, others racked up touches but were completely ineffective.

Worst:
1 Waite - just missed everything - if you cant kick goals you're a waste of space on the forward line.
2 Robinson - Specialised in appalling kicks into the forward 50, either hit an Essendon player on the chest, or blasted away without even looking.
3Maclean - too slow - if he's in the side we're going to have a bad day.

Invisible Man award to Garlett, Gibbs, Curnow, Hampson and others I just can't remember..
