Watched the first half. Saunders did some very nice things not sure on why the criticism of him. Of the other listed players he is the one that looks closer to going up.
Jeka isn't getting free on the lead like he used to and seems more focussed on impacting contests. As this is an area he struggles perhaps there is a bit of a reset with his game to try and round it out more. Not moving as well as last year.
Glimpses from Butler. Can see he is clean and quick.
Bramble and Morris ok but not pressing claims. But we have seen with Mitchell this year at selection he seems to want to get best 22 players together at AFL level even if they aren't fully fit.
