Great win. Just pure effort that. Our skills can let us down but if we put in that sort of effort, we will win a fair few games

Gunston Moore Sicily Newcombe Scrimshaw were all excellent all day.

Mitchell and CJ had bad first halves but were both excellent late in the game.

I like that each of DGB Ward and MacDonald not only performed in the 4th quarter, but were trusted in key roles late.

The midfield remains a problem. There’s a couple of high profile guys in there who are really struggling but the intent of Newk and Nash in there is great

Gunston: 11 disposals - 3 marks - 5 tackles - 3 goals - 1 behind
Breust: 14 disposals - 3 marks - 2 tackles - 2 goals - 1 behind

Breust 451 goals
Gunston 389 goals

840 goals combined :D

Tom Mitchell was epic during the second half.
was awful in the first (tagged admittedly)

ended up being close to BoG from one half of footy

Denver had 3-4 important 1v1s in that last quarter that he won which went a long way, and Scrimshaw's 1v1 win on two separate occasions won us the game

could not be happier

Ran over the top of them. They rely on too few whereas we had an amazing spread.

Newk, Mitch, Sic, Scrim, CJ, Moore, Bruest, Gunston, Dimma, Frost, Worps, Ward, CMac and Impey were superb.

Never been prouder to be a Hawks fan than today. Thought they would get over the line with their usual suspects but we responded to the surge they got from some questionable calls and took it to them.

Thought Shiels and Phillips added a harder edge. Wasn’t Morrison’s best game but he kept on putting himself in the right spots and was key in the last.

Hopefully Ned’s injury isn’t too serious.
