Unchanged if Jetta’s not right. If he is right, although we looked a little tall, it would be a poor call to drop Rotham after that.

In: Jetta
Out: Duggan/Masten

Another pretty average WAFL game from the would be midfielders, Duggan unlucky but someone has to come out if we want to keep the same breakdown of backs/mids. If not, Masten lifted late but it’s probably his time if Rotham stays (which he should).

Edit: Apparently it’s going to piss down next week. Sorry Roth, we’re too tall. Jetta for Roth.

Duggan plays as a mid

Not particularly keen on trying that again, he’s found a great role in defence.

There were quite a few players worse the Masto out there tonight wearing blue and gold. I think he is safe.
Rotham looks composed but so could see a shuffle to keep him in if Jetts is right which may fall on.Mastos head but safe money is on him retaining his spot.
Hickey is a liability in slippery conditions.

I didnt watch him play but **** it I think it's time to see what Mallen is capable of. If not now, then when??

Out: Masten (I am done with him. As someone who should be our link up specialist he is not very good at it this year. Can barely crack 15 possessions, looks god awful slow, cannot break a tackle nor lay one, turns the footy over)

In: Mallen

Oscar might get a rest, Masten is living on the edge. We missed Jetta's kicking, so he comes back in and maybe Waterman as well. Dunno who makes way for Jetts.

Yes. Change the day it's on. The forecast is rain and storms. Whoever shows up might get drenched or get struck by lightning from the heavens.

Why would we give Oscar Allen a rest when he was the only one in our forward line who could actually take a mark

Masten 16 touches from 87% TOG.
He's not getting his hands on it for a few games now.

Out: Vardy, Rotham

In: Mallen, Jetta

I get that port have the two rucks but we are way too tall, Vardy is playing like shit and we need more run and grunt. Debut Allen ffs and bring in a gun ball user even if it’s wet
If it's gunna be raining, I actually like this a lot.

Yeah they’d be my changes if it’s a wet deck.

Might even give Cameron a debut instead of Mellen, I reckon a wet game would suit him.

Lel, let the Masten hate consume you.

He stays.
He is averaging 14.8 disposals this season.

Do you think that's enough from him?

Honestly I'm starting to think that anything from our reserves team would be better then that.

Allen?
Brander?
Nelson?
Ah chee?

His position, and other positions in the side, aren't based solely on numbers. That's very simplistic. His endurance and running patterns enable us to play our premiership-winning style. He stays.

You guys shouldn’t be mad at Masten, you should be mad at the people underneath who can’t dislodge him.

Matt Allen had a decent day today but isn’t quite right for Masto’s role and aside from that we’ve had two very uninspired weeks of WAFL midfield play.

It’s very beneficial for us that a young mid shines and dislodges Masten, that’s so much better for us long term, so don’t think anybody who defends Masto is doing it because we think it’s some sort of long term benefit to the team. Don’t get shitty at Masten for continuing to get a game, get mad that we’ve got a bunch of kids in the WAFL not seizing a very wide open opportunity.
