Anything under a 100 I would view as a 'fail' when it comes to Captain choice.

Preferably 120+, but 100-120 all is not lost.

Was happy I took Pendles 119 last week as VC, not revert to Sloane as C.

With this in mind - how many 100's has each team let up this year?

Been keeping a spreadsheet, which I started thinking it might help me in some small way.

Anyway, thought I would share - may help somebody else with their choice of VC or Captain?

SC 100's against.PNG

Hawthorn so far are hardest team to get a 100 against.

Geelong & Carlton are 2 teams with most against.

Interesting, Geelong are only averaging only 2x 100's a game to this point.

Thoughts?

Take round one out, and north melbourne are bloody good at stopping blkes from gathering high scores.. Interesting stat, this is why I believe Swanny is my VC this week, I dont think ill even need to worry about choosing a captain

Eventually I'll put a rolling average in over say 5 weeks to see if that gives any insight as well.

More of a 'form' filter.

I'll try to remember to update & post each week.

Any suggestions to what other info would be handy?

Great job krk004

Would be great if you update throughout the season.

He's been in a moon boot all week Swan, will be lucky to play by all accounts... Fingers crossed.

Swan and the Pies say he's apples and if he gets through training OK tomorrow he's a sure-fire starter, so... I'm going with Swanny to shake off the ankle and pillage the Blues to the tune of 140+.

I'm just going to stick with Pendles & Fyfe for the rest of the year, or at least until GAJ comes back and starts dominating again.

Hmmm, my loophole player is Read. If everyone else plays then it will have to be

Cripps VC
Fyfe C
Interesting concept - What if Judd comes back in?

krk004 this is a wicked ass table.

Does it change if it extends to 115+. .which I'd seriously consider as a vc option to take?

I just manually enter the results from each rd, so would have to go back & go again for 115+

100 was the mark as it's easy to glance at & tally up, but still seemed the best 'line in the sand'.

Good call shouldn't get many if any dodgy scores there.

Bloody oath but those that did that trade have netted -150 points and the loss of a bloke going to top $400k in a couple weeks which could even cost an additional trade later on when upgrading to add to the original trade.
This is why I'm very reluctant to trade rookies early unless they get injured long term. Back to back 85s next 2 weeks will get Cripps to 421k.

Little bit of confusion in there, i was talking about how good North are firstly..

Secondly, I think swanny will run around willy nilly and rack up a huge tally against the Bluebaggers.. However, i do eat my words a lot and am never confident in predicting how well someone will do, unless it was GAJ of 2014 haha
