3 - Simpson. Given a job (keep Crawford quiet) and did it magnificently. Also managed to get a bit of the ball and performed well.

2 - Hale. Broke even with Everitt in the ruck but had a great influence around the ground. He clearly has above average ability around the ground. I reckon we have something to look forward to in the next few years if both he and Hamish stay fit and play ti their potential.

1 - Sav. When you kick 5 goals and your side wins by three then it is fair enough to get in the votes. I was rapt in the way he did defensive things. He chased hard even though he could not catch a cold!!!

Any number of players could have got a vote or three, very even performance and it is good to see.
