O.K. it's only tuesday, but time to start the ball rolling...Now pay attention, because currently I've got 31 out of a possible 48 in my tips, which is a very good start for me...

Kangaroos vs. Essendon...Roos by 12points
The Bombers can't seem to win at the MCG. Lucky for them this match is at the Dome. Unfortunately for them they won't win though. Roos playing good attacking footy at the moment.

Collingwood vs. Carlton...Pies by 24points
Danger game for the Magpies, although I can't really see them dropping this one. Carlton seem to miss Stevens...a lot.

Port Adelaide vs. Richmond...Power by 30points
Will be a better match than many might think, but the Power to win comfortably in the end.

Brisbane vs. Adelaide...Crows by 7points
Really can't see Adelaide losing 3 matches in a row. Neil Craig will find a way to win at the Gabba.

St.Kilda vs. Sydney...Swans by 10points
The Swans back at the Dome for a second week in a row. Will learn from last week.

Geelong vs. West Coast...Cats by 14points
The Cats can do this at home. Confidence up, better forwards than the Eagles which will help at Kadinia.

Bulldogs vs. Melbourne...Dogs by 15points
The Dee's are close to a win, but the Dogs should take the points here. Melbourne havn't played at the Dome yet this year, and the Doggies seem to play this ground well.

Fremantle vs. Hawthorn...Dockers by 38points
Forget about Buddy....How are Hawthorn going to deal with Tarrant + Pavlich?
A rude awakening for the Hawks.

You do realise campbell brown killed Scott Lucas on the weekend? Lucas is a much better player then tarrant in my opinion, so Browny will get first crack at him. As for Pav, Croady will most likely get him, if not these two matchups, it might well go - Gilham on Tarrant, Brown on Pav.

Also, who is Connoly going to man up on a forwardline consiting of something like:

Crawford Boyle McGlynn/Young/Bateman
Dixon Roughead Franklin

You see, the four talls named there are able to easily swap possitions, and will cause hell for freo.

Hawks by 30.

Dont kid yourself Freo are gonna come out firing and there midfield should cut you up at Subiaco.

Gilham (ex port player) on Tarrant? lol Tarrant to kick 6 goals, pav similar.

Freo by 50+

Gilham played one game for your mob, and so far this year has kept his opponent very quiet. May even see him in the All-Australian side at FB, that would really stick it up you arrogant port ****ers wouldnt it?

I find your reference to Gilham being an ex-Port player interesting considering the fact that you relieved the Hawks of the biggest squib ever perpetrated on the AFL in Nathan Lonie.

Port fans are seriously the most feral and stupid of all fans.

Oh, and before you write Hatwhorn off at Subiaco against The Purple Fairies, you may want to have a look at the spanking we gave them over there a couple of years ago.

Result might be correct, but there is no way they will pull 33,000 at the dome on Mother's day. Would say closer to 25,000.

Plus, Melbourne supporters refuse to go to the Dome.

Surprisingly Nathan Lonie has been great for us this year. His a great linkman when running out of defence.

Mate, Gilham may well be a good player but i highly doubt he will be able to restrict Tarrant or Pavlich this weekend at home.

Tarrant can be difficult to stop when he is on song but if Hawthorn turn up to play, they will tear an overrated Fremantle midfield a new ar*ehole.

He wont play on either of them. He's been doing a great job this year, and has been a real find for us in defence.

Croad will get Pavlich, Brown to take Tarrant.

We match up well against Freo, but they will certainly start favourites in this game.

Winnable from our point of view because the larger ground suits our game style, and we have the midfield to match the Dockers. Should be a good test to see where we are at.

You do realise that skilled stadium can barely hold that many. Expect a few more at friday night football, and why would saints v sydney get a bigger crowd than dons v roos.

The only thing standing between the Hawks and a win is a bloke called Pavlich. Stop him and it's game over. Problem is I don't see anyone at Hawthorn capable of holding him. Too big for Brown, too good for either Croad or Gilham. Best chance is to dominate the midfield.

Essendon tall fowards were never going to rip the hawks apart. Lucas is not a big contested mark type player so the little blokes like O'Brian and Brown can play on him. Johns goes missing a lot of the time and played too deep.
However against freemantle the talls in Pavlich, Tarrant, Sollimon and Murphy (if he plays) are stronger and taller and unless the hawks go the flood which at Subi is difficult they might be in for a bad week.

Johnson is the type of player that could go with Buddy, with McPharlin et al to cover the remianing talls such as Boyle, Roughhead & Dixon.

Freo by 50+
Not sure about that freos midfield looked pretty slow and average against the lions. We can run all day and have more pace than them.

I would be surprised if they beat us by that much.

If Franklin plays half the game he has over the last 2 weeks, no one can go with him - baring in mind he did kick 3 goals in a quarter and a half when Michael and Fletcher were double teaming him...

McPharlin can't cover 3 tall forwards - especially if Croad plays up forward as well.

Pavlich is the big concern - Pavlich vs. Croad would potentially be a great match up, but I'm not particular concerned with Tarrant.

We are a pretty quick and fit side - with the midfield being probably our biggest strength, so I rate us a chance to outrun Fremantle...

Having said that I expect us to lose, but in a very close contest...it really shouldn't be a blow out either side.

To predict a 50+ lose on the basis of this years form - bare in mind the Hawks have won 8 of their last 10 home and away games, is illogical IMO.
