Experts out there....

Who would you consider trading Houli for next week out of Dal Santo and Mitchell?

I'm thinking for Mitchell, has been more consistent. However Dal Santo seems to score big with less possessions

I'm thinking Mitchell is the more consistent pick.

Also thinking of getting rid of Gram next week for Stiffy, Kenelly, Bock or Shaw. Who would you pick if you were to replace him? Is it worth trading him out before B.Jones and Newman who both did well for me this week?

Have the feeling Gram only does well on big grounds and Jones only does well at Subiaco. This is a tough decision for me with C.Cornes sitting on the emergency bench injured..

Shaw easily

50/50 with Mitchell and Dal Santo..i have both and both are good

I'm with sblack- Shaw in a heartbeat.
Nicky Dal was the second player I picked at the start of the year- he will never let you down. Who else can score 90 points from 7 touches?

I certainly have my eye on Mitchell though- how to get him though is the question...

two options this week..

got 117000 extra to blow..

trade out either barlow/ellis for someone or..

trade out hill for someone

i also have dempsey on the bench but ive had to use my trades a bit already and im considering leaving him there as palmer is filling the void nicely..

thoughts???

i'll probably look at cashing Houli inwhilst i can jump on Browne before his price rise. I have Geary and Wonnammirri on the bench. I could upgrade Geary which would give me a budget around $500-510 OR upgrade Wonnammiri and have a budget of around $630K.
Wonnammiri still has plenty of cash left in him, and saving him would allow me to get a gun when I go to upgrade Palmer. This seems to make sense, but then who to grab with my $500K... the shortlist seems to be:
- Tyson Edwards - cheap but risky.
- Jed Adcock - has struggled so far, but is a gun.
- Luke Power.
- Marc Murphy
- Cameron Bruce
- Kane Cornes
- Nathan Foley
Basically take a risk on Edwards/Adcock/Bruce or go safe with Power or Kornes.
then i'd hope to be able to grab Bartel/Ablett/Judd/Harvey when upgrading Palmer.

any suggestions?

If you can afford those guys you can afford Mitchell or Dal Santo...they should be the 2 guys atop ur list..at least if u were considering Power. But at the same time you may have underestimated his price...if that is true.. I would go Murphy before most of those guys..then Bruce, Foley, Kornes(wish I got someone else at this stage), Adcock, then Edwards

Mitchell will be around 550k
And NDS will be 535k

Having Gram, Mattner, B.Jones and Newman in my team has forced me to give Gram the chop as he had lost the most value and have upgraded him to H.Shaw. Needed a gun in the backline while C.Cornes is out.

Downgraded Houli to Browne from the Blues for a nice cash injection and now have $280,000 left in the bank for future upgrades.

The only areas I'm still suss on is my defense which has Mattner (giving him one more chance), Newman and Jones in it. Whoever goes crap after next round is getting the chop for Stiffy.

My midfield could do with a Dal Santo or Mitchell and my forward line could do with another gun like Richo, O'Keefe or Johnson if he has come good. Will wait till he plays another game before making up my mind on Johno.

Does Stiffy sound like the third best defender out there if you already have C.Cornes and H.Shaw? I rate these two as the best (should have picked Shaw from the start) :D

i already have both Mitchell and Dal Santo...
and I did think Power may be a little cheaper, I also have a little less than I'd like if I upgrade Geary with only $501200 - annoying because there are so many better options with only 30k more. Still not sold on most of the players in this price bracket.
