A game like that - was really good to see some guys play themselves back into form. CJ, D'Ambrosio, Impey - all that rebound energy was really good.

Second on the ladder - just clocking up the wins.

Watching Chol and Wiz in the same forward line is the most entertaining thing in football. Absolutely love it.

- Welcome back CJ. Ditto Ward.

- That was our first genuine 4 quarter performance for the year.

- Meek, Newc and Weddle all huge.

- Balance looks better with Hardwick back.

- Love the Chol.

- Watson is the definition of big game player.

- How blessed are we to have vintage Gunston still on the list.

Despite our captain doing his level best to keep Richmond in the contest, there were some encouraging signs. Ward was excellent today, Mass found his mojo and CJ did some extraordinary things in the second half.

The first half was a very hard watch, but when CJ, Impey and Weddle got moving in the third we looked so much better.

Battle and Barrass were rocks.

Best game of the year for D'Ambrosio. CJ had a few bemusing errors, but he was amazing in the second half. That's surely his best performance since 2021?

Ginnivan was back to last year's form, and worked right up the ground. Watson was really dangerous.

I really wish Ward would win more of the ball. Every touch he had was a positive and ended up in a teammates hands. He is such a good kick on the run.

Really hope Macdonald gets a full game next week.

I loved that we started to get some really good rebound from half-back. Ball movement was quality this week.

Yes, and I felt like the moments we did have where nothing much was happening forward of the ball will be remedied in part by the return of Calsher next week.

Clicked into gear after a very pedestrian first half. Impey, CJ, Weddle, Battle, Massimo all gave us enormous drive out of the back half that we've been missing for weeks, but more than that, they really worked hard to support each other. Great to see us play a bit more team-oriented footy.
