Exactly. So I’d use the injuries thread, except no-one discusses injuries there anymore because it’s all in the round discussions, so I’d have to search through eight threads and hundreds of posts to find what I was looking for.

Would it be best if the injuries thread was just kept to specific injury reports only without discussions so if you wanted to find out a specific players status it would be easier?

But he's not really at the ruck to win a hitout, he's there to be first to the ball once it has been tapped. Actually winning the tap is a bonus. Could argue that the 3rd man up rule helps this tactic by keeping another player out of the ruck area.
