Clearly stating the obvious but not much to get excited about. We've been worked out at the stoppages and on the evidence of today don't seem to have a plan B. Not allowing us any space at all. The loss of Carrazzo is hurting us more than we ever would have thought. Dare I say it, but with Murphy now down also this may be McLean's last chance. Need some grunt at the stoppages. Our backline is also extremely brittle - Russell and Bower just not up to it, Duigan hasn't rediscovered last year's form, Tuohy inexperienced and Armfield just a battler. Missing Laidler's stability also with Yarran's run until late today.

I always thought making grand predictions in the pre-season was dangerous. What purpose does it serve??? Better off letting your actions do the talking and at the moment they aren't matching the pre-season hype!!!

I'll just +1 this guys votes.

Hard to really give votes at the moment in any particular fashion. Ellard did try his guts out and you know what you will get with him. Jamo is Jamo and a very classy player.

I want to give some kudos to Lachie Henderson because he tried his best in a defense under siege and then even went forward and was visibly trying to lift the boys and showed a few really nice signs. My man love for him just went up even more.

5. Henderson - Tried to single handedly drag us back into the game, first with backline effort and then up forward, clearly the better player
4. Judd - Kept us in it early but even he started to struggle as the game wore on
3. Scotland - Wasn't his normal composed self but lacked support at times
2. Ellard - Threw himself into it for most of the day
1. Armfield - Gave us dash from the packs

BYP - Curnow - More players need his, Army and Ellard endeavour

Unlucky - Jammo (getting better after an interupted pre-season)
