Fancy Whopper's chances with those outs. With Hewett and Owies vacating the forward line, surely he's got one of those positions stitched up.

Wasn't Cole in the rehab group this week? Has to be a fair chance that he doesn't make the trip, leaving room for Edwards to come in.

Would also like to see Allan back in over Hall. Thought he didn't deserve to be dropped in the first place.

Feel for Hewett. He deserved to be dropped but he shouldn't have been in the team to start with. Had he been given time to build fitness and form in the WAFL he may have been a fit and primed inclusion this week.

Reports coming out that other clubs are interested in him the same week he's dropped is a bit on the nose though. I'm assuming manager driven nonsense.

I hope they try hall as defensive mid as he has been doing this role in the wafl for weeks and the team needs one. Other clubs find roles for players and it clicks so I’m hoping it happens here.
Johnson has been training and playing half forward role all preseason and year so be great to see him get a chance in his contract year. Pressure I hope.

It's the usual media slop. Other clubs will be offering huge money and long term deals etc. (based on the handful of good games he's been able to string together ever) but there will be nothing about him having any trade value.
