Ok Coach's .....best laid plans have been scuttled this week

I've done one of two planned downgrades .....Warner to Poulter ....the 2nd planned was Brockman for RCD , leaving me $500K in the Bank

But Marshall's injury guarantees me a drop in rankings ......do I forgo the RCD trade and bring in Dusty a week early, costing me potentially the $40K price drop planned for .....or continue with the Cash Generation path ?

This is a head over heart moment

I wouldn't trade out Brockman. Has he made enough to trade?

Looks like you picked up Thilthorpe (you of all people should have known better) as a swing man to cover the rucks eventually. Use him to do the job you brought him in for & cover Marshall for the short term.

I'm assuming you still have Flynn at R3 & no Sweet.

After Flynn's match this week, flick him next and swing Marshall into R3, Brockman forward, looking to go a week late maybe on RCD. The cash Flynn makes will slightly offset missing RCD for the week, but you'll still get a decent cash generator & maintain the 'role' of the Ruck swing combo you obviously thought was a good idea at the time.

That'll be $50 thanks

My advice is stick to the plan. That 40k you save now will be the difference between a Bont/Lyons type and having get a cheaper option when you upgrade over the byes.

RCD will be a good rookie for the next month, who knows what the next batch will be like.

But like always, do what your gut says.

I picked Thilthorpe as a trade for Rowe .....playing as that HHF and Wing, he'll average more than Rowe

I didn't pick Thilthorpe as Flynns R3 replacement ......but now Marshall has been tranquilised , he'll come in handy as a backup

Brockman can't make money if he's not playing .....going to RCD nets $51K, but RCD will make $100K over the next 3 match's, removes a R12 bye player in Brockman ......total deal nets me $151K min plus another "live" bench player

Interesting thought moving Marshall to R3 next week

Completely stumped on my trades this week, so any help would be appreciated!

SO many issues: Tex, Fantasia, Gulden, whichever spud ends up my F6

Thinking: Tex to Hall, Ely Smith to Harmes.

Hall is in a crap team and too often dropped too big a risk.
Id go tex to lloyd and whichever of warner/berg/scott you want gone to rcd put smith on the bench for now.

Fanta or rowe to a good premo forward a week or two after.

Haven’t followed the trade thread too closely this round so forgive me if this has already been discussed.
James Harmes, round 1 had 20 disposals and a goal before breaking his hand, got scaled back a bit at the end of the game due to the injury. Returned last week and was a bull in the middle, thought he was super and after checking his price couldn’t help but think he could make a solid D6/ D7 with this role for a team like myself that is struggling to fill the ground with SPs due to injuries etc.
Obviously Viney comes back in the coming weeks and there’s a chance that throws the plan out the window but I just wanted to get some opinions on it.

Waterman v Brockman v Berry

A. Berry will net the most cash and is at max value but is at least playing which will be very valuable in the byes.

B. Brockman has money to make and the best bye but is currently out of the side.

C. Waterman has the most money to make but a poorer bye and also out of the side.

Who would you trade out?

(Edit: trading Berry also offers better DPP flex)

The value pick next week is Dusty in for Scott .....doesn't change my current Bye structure

I should cash Flynn in .....but there's a crazy chance he plays well, and gets another game ....with the possibility every Qtr of Mummy copping an injury, the timing of when to trade Flynn is one of the more difficult decisions
