When you say "publicly", do you mean through a social media post from someone that isn't Rowan Marshall? Apart from requesting a trade, there has been nothing to suggest he would kick doors off hinges if the trade isn't done.

Rowan is allowed to explore his options. While he isn't a rocket scientist, he would understand that there's a real possibility that he's playing for the Saints next year.

Come on Geelong, don't "wine and dine" a player for two years and leave him at the alter on the big day. Obviously a joke, but this is a similar scenario to Aleer. The media class will never be firm on the Cats if this doesn't get done.

Nah he won't do that. There will be no locker room impact.

He will be disappointed but come day 1 of pre-season he will be back and giving it his all.

Most players are professional like that and especially Ro.

He's not going scorched earth like Merrett, he still loves the club, he's just looking to make a smart career move.

I think a deal will get done late one way or another.
