Almost pull the trigger on that trade, but one WC fan claims that Stevens wasn't getting a game because his defensive running isn't as good as McGinnity's.

He is like Mitch Robinson, Tough and hard at it!
I probably wouldnt say AS Tough as i dont think anyone can be like Robbo, but he is pretty tough and I would love to see him in the Navy Blue.
He is an inside mid.
He is really good at winning contested ball and he is also strong overhead.

We get Koby and I reckon thats the final nail in McLean's coffin at the club. With Curnow and Stevens as our inside mids, I dont think that McLean will bet in the gun barrel at all next year.

I harp on about this but McLean has never had an uninterrupted preseason.

If we do that we are the Carlton of old and will pay a price like we have over the last 10 years. Paying far to much for a player that has a few years left.
