play both same as when we had cloke, rocca and rusling. Fraser on the bench rotating through ruck and forward line with these players always having 3 targets up forward, hard to match up on see how it works in the NAB cup because they will be trialled together I am sure of that

1 of the main things i noticed in that video is how much more attacking Pendlebury was in 07, streaming through the center delivering long lace out passes into the f50 hope we see more of that from him in 2010.

The other thing is J.Clement and N.Buckley set plays on goal from 60m out, who do we have who is capable of that? because it broke up the swans flood and could be handy vs teams like Hawks zone.

Agree about Pendles. Last year he was top 5 at the club for defensive rebounds and not in the top 5 for I50's. Given he is such a beautiful kick thats a waste IMO, as he could be setting up forwards for scoring opportunities. I'm sure it's a matter of how Malthouse is using him. I'd prefer for someone like Beams take over that midfield role that floats back. Guys like Sidebottom, Pendles and Davis need to be the mids we have kicking into the f50.

i think you have lots of other good players though. would enjoy having pendlebury, dayne swan and didak running round for the dogs :thumbsu:

are they key position forwards? oh sorry i thought they were just there to live off the success of cloke...my bad

Now with Dick injured for half of the season i think we can play both. If i could chose one it would probs be Rusling because he is alot more built then Jack as a forward and wont be muscled out from contests easily and he is also quicker then Jack but i still love Jack.

Ok everyone seems to be tuned into Rusling......which is great but it will take Rusling a few games before he is considered for senior selection.

What about the forgotten man who has been quietly sitting on the sidelines waiting to be given a good go up forward..........CHRIS DAWES ?

If he is not given game time this year i reckon he'll ask to be traded at years end and it will be our loss.

Dawes must be given a good shot this year to prove himself,if so he will surprise.
