Neither are overrated as i've heard people say, Naitanui's 2012 was the best season either have had but Ryder was better this year.

Probably Nic Nat because he's younger, I hope he can get over his injuries was amazing to watch at his best.

I picked Ryder, He is more consistent and he is injury free. Even though He is older, Ryder is the better of the two.

Naitanui is better when fit - he is an absolute game changer and pretty much unstoppable in terms of limiting his tapwork and he has superior ground level tackling and clearance winning ability. His ongoing groin problems are a huge concern though. If he stays at his 2013/2014 levels then Ryder is better. I think 2015 will be revealing in terms of if he can get back to full fitness and his AA form.

Ryder rarely ever gets injured and you would be comfortable backing him to play a good 20+ games in any given season. He is more damaging with his disposal and kicks goals more consistently. His big weakness has always been that he fails to rack up many disposals (neither does Naitanui though) and his tapwork whilst good in terms of effectiveness is not elite in terms of raw numbers and he doesn't rack up the hitouts the way a Naitanui or Sandilands or even Jacobs can.

Nic Nat has yet to do a full preseason i believe. Clearly the best ruck in the league (along with Sandi), if he can ever get fit, and stay fit. Having said that i'm starting to be concerned about that happening on a regular basis.
