But if we do well this year (and I think we will), it'll be on the back of different players, playing in different positions, under a different coach with a different game plan. What the hell does that have to do with Stinkley?

“He copped a lot of criticism from ungrateful fans did Kenny™, but rather than leave them in the lurch as he had every right to do given the way he was treated, he stayed true to his principles and gifted his successor one helluva platform”

To be clear, this isn’t a real quote — but it will be if Josh has the team firing early 😅

Not sure if I am still blocked by Rohan. He made some type of comment about "Kenny's record stacks up against the best"
I think I just pointed out that in the 13 years of Ken at Port, almost half the competition has won a Premiership/s, majority of the competition had played in a GF and Port have won a total of six finals in 13 years which is also less than most teams. So when measuring success Port is pretty low down on the KPI chart.

Strangely enough many of the responses I got back was "This is not the SANFL anymore" Which is exactly the point I was making by solely comparing results against the rest of the competition during the same period.

Ken's record is so bad that even if you added an extra grand final and premiership to it it would still be clearly the worst record for a coach of his tenure in VFL/AFL history.

Is he called Jordy by the players, or Jords?
Or do they just not acknowledge his existence?

What is he offering the club in his rple compared to not having that role held by a nepo hire
He should never have been employed in the first place but on what grounds could the club terminate his employment?

Unless he was employed on a fixed term contract we're stuck with him. At least COVID enabled the club to get rid of Hinkley's daughter and son-in-law.

Can’t understand why people are shocked about Ken’s son having a job at the club. He’s obviously doing the job he’s required to do like anyone else in the workplace.
The bitterness some people have borders on someone with mental heath issues.
He was the one or orchestrated our forward line setup last year

Not really sure we have need for him now we actually hired a forward line coach

Low quality bait this

Seriously?

That's not actually his role at the club.

Tell that to chad cornes

'Kenny,
myself, Jordy Hinkley come
up with a new offensive
game style that we
thought wouldsuit what
we're going to have up
forward.

And again, that one of those
things that just didn't
eventuate, whether how i taught it or what we had in terms of personnel.' Chad Cornes - 28/08/2025

Sounds as if Jordan Hinkley in his role as football analyst gave input to the senior coach and an assistant coach in regards to game style. Those two coaches no longer being at the club doesn't make the Football Analyst's role redundant.
