"We're enjoying the fresh new regime" is one thing, of course he's going to say that. He didn't have to say "Whilst I agree it was well overdue for a change and I'm glad Hinkley is gone and the place is feeling good again
The players are always going to say the change is good. They're hardly going to say that they miss the old regime/game style in the same way they were always going to back Hinkley when he was coach
we had grown stale under Hinkley though. Just like Hartlett could've said "under Josh it feels like our ideas are being listened to" without going further to say it used to be Ken's way or the highway.
It's back to why people got pissed off at Charlie Dixon for shitting on the fans in his defence of Hinkley. Of course any media trained player is going to say whatever's happening now is good. It's when they go on to actively push back against the other side of the argument, even when doing so makes another aspect of the club look bad, when you go on to think that these are there actual thoughts, not just media training.
