Licca gave Montagna a bath, he is not done, he is not in Copeland medal winning form but he was amongst the best today!!

Iles' skills were today and are fantastic!! He was very calm under pressure and clean hands iin the clinches! his best game yet.

Lockyer was on Montagna.

Sammy wasnt at his best today, which is a good sign for his output.

He struggled a bit in the first half, lagging behind Milne, which was simply a fact of picking up the pace in just his second game for the year.

He wasnt as clean as he would have liked, picking the ball up off the ground but hey hes not Dale Thomas.

Has come along in leaps and bounds throughout the year and is really pushing to cement his spot in the side. Well done Sammy.

There was a reason Tarks only managed 16 touches. he was keeping a guy who's averaged 30 over the last month to 13.

Keeping Montagna to 13 was worth Tarks only getting 16, though. Montagna been on fire in recent weeks. Another good game from Tarks, and I say this as someone who has been very critical of him over the past few years.

Yeah. i agree Montagna has been the barometer of the Saints lately. To keep him to 13 touches is a huge effort.

Barring injury, Locks might be a good pick for the Copeland.

Was worried early about Sam, his decision making & disposal under pressure were very poor early - perhaps this was nerves as he finished off the match excellently & impressed me. Can see why Mick likes him, loves to work hard & keeps going all day. Not sure if he will ever make it in our best 22 however.

Thought we were watching his last game during the second quarter, but he came alive in the second half. Great stuff.

May struggle with Davies pounding on the selection door though.

I like him....he will improve even more. only played about 6 games i think in total....so glad we decided to go with him over campo!!
