The only thing that will happen, if you ignore the South move to where they already are, is Glenelg and Norwood to stay.
The SANFL clubs operate on shoestring budgets, so they won't lose that much by missing a year because they don't make that much anyway. Contrast the AFL which will bleed millions of dollars in lost revenue.
Port and Adelaide will, and should, go. If any other club is close to folding, they could merge with Port or Crows and split costs while keeping their name.
Not sure they dont lose much, it'll all depend on the player contracts and what they HAVE to pay their players.

They currently have little revenue, due to all their venues being shut.

I still think they'll all survive, much like the AFL clubs. But the landscape will look different.

I totally get what you’re saying about Central Districts’ past, my comment there was more just about the name.

Agree re. Relocating the two other teams - could totally happen in Murray Bridge. I guess I just don’t see the connection, whereas I do with Sturt/Hills.

I don’t think that would detract from a hills-based team, that team could stand on its own two feet. The population in Mt. B alone is forecast to double in the next 20 years...

Mount Barker is, but most of the Hills, particularly the northern towns, arent getting any bigger.

Have SANFL players not had to take pay cuts for not playing like their AFL counterparts?
