By the way apparently Dangerfield, if he pulls up ok in the next day or two could be a chance this week. More likely he might miss a week but keep that in mind as some might not want to trade him. He's been cleared of any spinal damage its just a neck strain I think or something so he could come good this week.

Good advice. For those with Danger I think it's well worth holding onto him for another week and not wasting a trade just yet.

Yeah, no use jumping off. There are other trades to be made this week, and this doesn't sound like more than a week or 2, so I'd hold on to him.

Really helps me out with MPP, he does.

My trade this week will be -

Riewoldt > Chapman


Not making any others this week as there's no need to.

Depending on how long Dangerfield is out for I may do the following next week-


Dangerfield > Rockcliff


And then in a few weeks upgrade Shuey to Judd or I could try and upgrade my defense as I have $187,000 in the kitty and $240,000 odd from the Dangerfield > Rockcliff downgrade. Could get some good cheap bargains like Newman for just over $400,000.

ive got roo and tippett(in the rucks) and want to trade both

already got okeefe and brown and no money in the bank

should i go

chapman and seaby/mumford/jamar

or

pavlich and kreuzer

i really want chappy and everyone keeps saying worry about his hamstrings but whos to say he doesnt play every game. history doesn always tell the future
but still i like the look of kreuzer and is looking to be no.2 behind sanidlands and pavlich is just a gun

im undecided thoughts?

After hearing that update on Danger I might keep him, maybe get Rockliff though for Relton so then I don't have a hole up forward since Gary Rohan still isn't getting a game..

I have thought of a few combos
Option 1
Roo+Tippett-->Boomer+Rioli
Option 2
Roo+Tippett-->ROK+Gwilt
Option 3
Roo-->Chapman
Option 4
Roo+Tipett-->Pavlich+Rioli

Option 1
-Rioli could have another great season and he is going to go up in price
-It is proven boomer can be stopped
Option 2
-ROK is a premium no risk choice, but expensive (Partly Sideways)
-Gwilt is under the radar he is averaging 91 and just scored 111 against collingwood
-However he isnt a proven champion yet, a bit risky
-He gets a fair bit of the ball in saints defence and he will rarely have to play on like the big men
Option 3
-Chapman, on fire this season
-Injury concerns
Option 4
-Pavlich is doesnt play great away from subiaco
-But he can have big games

Also looking at Rockliff just Petersons job security would seem to be a fair bit higher at this stage.

wait until the list is out...and definatley get Rok , or boomer but ROK is betterrrrr

With Clark suspended and no back up ruckman, I had to trade him. Got Sandilands, but now have no money.

Already used 5 trades as well so I'll have to stop for a couple of weeks.

Ouchies! Sandilands will serve you well, he seems the best ruckman at this stage.

How have your other trades been?

Am determined not to trade waite just yet...bought him expecting him to start off slowly after coming back from his injury so need to give him a chance. Will be disappointed if he doesn't pick up once Judd is back.

Looks sound on paper, thoughts?

I'd do it

Rioli has scored big against the Cats and the Dogs, so imagine what he'll do to the weaker teams!

And Sandi is the must have ruck of 2010, so the sooner you get him and ditch the dead weight of Tippet, the better.

I am contemplating Roo to Brennan to save a bit of cash. Rioli is on my radar as well but am a bit wary of his injuries. Something that will influence me this week is that I have only about 2k in the bank and I'd like to dump Relton Roberts who I honestly don't think will make a dollar to either Peterson (even though his price is up there now) or Rockliff. Downgrading Roo by 100k or so would allow me to do that.

I'm annoyed I didn't get on Peterson earlier, but I like his job security, he's good enough to start on the field at this point in the game, and I still think he will make a fair bit of cash. Not as certain about Rockliff.

The other guy I'm hating right now is Ben Warren - in retrospect was a bad pick and really doesn't have much scoring upside. As long as he holds his price, he's okay for a later upgrade, but it's tempting to downgrade him to one of the two rookies as well.

Guys, what is the best method that is highly supported regarding rookies that did not play. I have Tarrant who I thought would be in the Roos 22 but with no obvious signs he is going to play any time soon do I bite the bullet and get someone like a Rockliff after next week or should I hold onto Tarrant?

And who should I trade Reiwoldt and Dangerfield for?

I still have Gray, who I'm tempted to trade out if he doesn't play (to either Brennan or Cyril).

Probably will go Riewoldt to ROK or Brown, can't seem to decide. Don't wanna go Chappy, as I've been burnt by him once around finals time already, and it seems last three seasons, he seems to miss one or two games at the pointy end of the season.

Okay so I'm pretty decided on trading Riewoldt to Pavlich. But I'm now looking at the rest of my forward line which reads:

Riewoldt (to be traded), ROK, Brown, Giansiracusa, Hall, Dangerfield, Medhurst (Rockliff & Hitchcock).

I'm a little concerned about Gia as he's had two scores in the 60s and one in the 80s so far this season. I'm thinking of maybe trading him for Higgins or Harvey, but don't really want to waste another trade if I don't need too. Is it worth me sticking with him or should I cut my losses? If I should trade him to Harvey, Higgins or someone else?

I am thinking about Tippett > Peterson which effectively means I will be starting both him and Rockliff on the ground but leaves me a good 170k in salary cap which I can use later to upgrade to a premium.

What do you think guys, good or bad trade?
