Just wonder how Schammer is travelling. Is he over his surgery complications?

He lost a lot of weight so he has been training on the track and gaining back the bulk. He will be available for selection after the midseason break.

Was on the radio the other day saying he was training a lot better, not huffing and puffing his way through the sessions.

Can't be too far off a WAFL game.

It will be cool when Schammertime returns. He just has to get himself bulked up, feeling healthy within himself and match ready. After his surgeries, he should be allowed the time to recuperate and get himself physically ready for his return. This is of course happening anyways. With some of the hits his taken over the past few seasons he has certainly paid some dues [ remember the time that dirty cowardly effort from that little smeghead Guerra when he played for St Kilda - he got clobbered from behind with Guerra taking one massive run up] . I hope he can get some blistering form upon his return

Had a setback with a very slight hamstring strain I heard which put him back a extra couple of weeks.

So it is either this week, the week after or in a months time.

I cant believe the anticipation shown for the return of my buddy.Last year it was drop him,he cant kick and is too slow.

That's what I heard - that Schammer is ahead of schedule, and could be back playing WAFL in a fortnight... and that Peaker will be back in the WAFL week after next.

Would love to see have a go at clearances.

Schammer won quite a few clearances in the final against Melbourne. I'm sure we would have seen him spend time in the centre square this season if he was fit.
