Pendlebury doesn’t have blood running from his eyebrow so therefore he is not considered to be in the same class as a leader such as Selwood.

But it’s difficult to compare when Geelong’s on and off field administration has been un-turbulent whilst Collingwood’s has been turbulent.

To still lead the sides as he has done has been remarkable. I also consider leadership to be more than just faux toughness like Selwood etc. what about training, off field dedication to regimens and remaining consistent in key attributes.
