Sweet F.A News

The Battle of the FFC's.

Dragons FFC

The second team to experience the Swamprats desire for everyone to win, the Hate driven club has endured a tough start to the season, and some games to forget on the Qooty field, the hopes at the Dragons boosted only by celebrating Andonis1997 's 150th game, the best team match reports in the league and the introduction of a the new Sir Bantony Sash award by underrated poster and vice captain @cammo666.

After multiple consecutive losses the team from Vanilla Island have managed to right the path with a win and a draw taking them off the bottom of the ladder and just half a game out of the eight. Some strong improvements in form from key members has been pivotal to an improved run. Ruckman Hate is always a consistent performer, but in the draw against the swamprats Determinant also came with him to the tune of a ridiculous 28 touches, 3 goals and 105 DT points. Promising rookie VSTone also provided excellent effort for 79 DT points whilst on baller Spanna_ laid an impressive nine tackles.

WFL 's exceptional initial form after his move to the club has trailed off slightly since, with the lowest point being a measly 1 kick, 1 goal return against the Rats, the quality of qooty is obviously there from some blinders earlier in the year so we at the Sweet F.A News room fully expect a much improved performance this week.

Roys FFC

The Roys have gone from cellar dweller to top four and equal first if not for a team sheet fiasco in a manner of weeks. And it's all down to the #Royvolution, and an experienced team seamlessly combining on and off the field. The only fear is that they may have timed their run a bit early given the fragile nature of the playing list. The Roys are widely regarded as great time and a quality match thread. This is personified in 'league nice guy' and Roys team leader fitzroybowiedog who leads 3rd overall in Dream Team points for the entire comp, and is a sneaky shout for the S22 Mobbs medal, indicating his vital nature to this well oiled and stretched out Roys machine.

In a match against the lowly Wolves, the midfield trio of Mooch , Mighty P and Loonerty lit up the centre square to the tunes of a collective 90 disposals and 5 goals straight. Well supported by the ever consistent Willo_ and big hauls of four from Fred and @PapaJuggs, a match which was close until the middle of the fourth quickly blew out to a high scoring clinical result perfect for the Roys finals aspirations.

Who wins?

This could be the closest game of the round when it comes down to the toughness it will take to win, and if both teams get a good start it could be goal to goal for the entire match. Expect the superior firepower at the Roys to play an extremely important role in seeing them over the line, whilst the midfield find it tougher going against a stacked dragons centre square squad.

All in the name of doing team things. Something the Bomdits would know nothing about

Oh okay, thank goodness! I was worried your horse and carriage hadn't turned up yet!
We only take those on Gamedays.

We usually walk 3 miles barefoot in snow to get to the threads.
