And there you go. The Deestroy Medal for best on ground in the Season 31 grand final goes to RobR from the Bombers. With 24 disposals, 6 tackles and 3 goals, he was clearly the best player for the Bombers tonight and in many ways played a lone hand. It continues a recent trend of the Deestroy going to losing teams, but regardless of the result you have to commend a young player's ability to perform on the big stage.

That's it from SFA Park in the Season 31 grand final, the Demons prevailed by 29 points over the Bombers in a rather comfortable victory to collect their third premiership since the competition expanded to 12 teams. After being at the top of the ladder for many seasons, manangatang has finally captained his troops to grand final victory. Congratulations to the Demons on an outstanding season, commiserations to the Bombers on a tough loss.
