The Bombers are having a yo-yo few weeks and are coming off a narrow loss against the Old Boys. The Gumbies on the other hand have won 4 of their past 5 games having dismantled the Phoenix by 52 points in in Round 12.

S34 Qualifying Final in a tight clash at the Bombers home ground. The Gumbies went into three quarter time with 12-point lead, the biggest lead of the whole game. However, the Bombers prevailed in a tight 1-point finish, sending the Gumbies into a dreaded semi final clash the next week.
