Gold City Royals have received an official warning under 6B - Minor Offence for incorrect team sheet formatting as per 5A - Third Offence

Teamsheet doesn't list all changes correctly

Changes:
Changes:
Uncle_Leo INT > HF
Smartys Power HF > INT

Should be
Changes:
Uncle_Leo INT > HFF
Smartys Power HFF > INT

5A) Submission Rules

The deadline for team sheet submission is the Thursday 11:59 PM Western Australia Time before a match unless stated otherwise by the Administrator
Team sheets cannot be posted prior to the commencement of the round which is Monday 12:01am Western Australia Time of the week of the round unless stated otherwise by the Administrator

Team sheets must be displayed in a logical format that is comprehensible by the game simmers. Each positional line {e.g. B, HB, C, HF, F, FOLL, INT} must be defined clearly and in case of positional changes the specific positions must be communicated in the listed changes. The only acceptable format is:

B: BP / FB / BP
HB: HBF / CHB / HBF
C: W / C / W
HF: HFF / CHF / HFF
F: FP / FF / FP
FOLL: RU / RR / RO
INT: INT / INT

CHANGES:

All positional changes from the previous round MUST be noted correctly in the Team Sheet Submission, including swapping from LHS positions to RHS positions.

The only acceptable format (eg) is:

OUT > INT
BP > OUT
OUT > BP
INT > OUT

Teams must contain 20 eligible players, and be submitted in a single post in the Official Team Sheet Submission Thread each round.

The team submission post must carry a uniquely team identifying characteristic, (eg team logo) and the correct round number and opponent.

Maliciously hindering the simmers from doing their jobs, by any deliberate acts to alter the team sheet such that simmers have additional difficulty in using them, will not be tolerated.

Failure to submit a team sheet in the correct format (20 eligible players, positional changes, correct spelling of every name within the whole team sheet and in the team sheet submission thread), or AT ALL will result in penalties under Sec [6] of the Rules

6B) Minor Offence

The following list of offences will result in a Strike under a 'Three-Strike Policy'. Which is outlined below:

1. Official Warning
2. 1 game suspension to the captain, if there are multiple captains at a club, the captain of the offending club will be randomly selected for suspension.
3. 2 point deduction, plus a 2-game suspension for the captain (if there are multiple captains at a club, the captain of the offending club will be randomly selected for suspension)

GreyCrow will receive a two match suspension to be taken over Round 16 this season and Round 1 next season and the Gold City Royals receive a 2 point penalty

Id really like to know how this is applied over two seasons? If this was the finals, the two points can't be applied this season or the following season. So how does a suspension carry over to the following season? Is this written anywhere in the rules? This seems a little make it up on the fly type of thing.

See James Colorado Season 36/37

Missed the final round of Season 36 and the First round of Season 37 thanks to an omgfridge special and the randomiser having an evil streak

That's fine if there's a precedent, but we should probably tidy up the rules to reflect it.

I'm just not really a fan of a rule having two penalties when only One of those penalties can be served the following Season.

I mean it's 2 points now and and the next two eligible games which in this case just happens to straddle seasons because of the upcoming bye and the fact the Royals suck and won't be playing finals

I don't really see how it doesn't make sense but I'm interested in you explaining it if you don't agree

Like i said, the fact only half the penalties from the one incident could potentially be applied if this were finals is a really strange scenario. It's a really grey area as the rules are written imo. I just think the rules could by tidied up.

Oh so you'd want the points to carry over to the following seasons ladder if the penalty occurred during finals?

You're making this alot more difficult that it needs to be. Had there not been a precedent we'd be arguing if the suspension should carry over or not. Let's just tidy the writing of the rules up to reflect that suspensions carry over. Its clearly not written anywhere as it stands.

Again why wouldn't the suspension carry over?

It does in real leagues

Sometimes I think people like to argue the rules for the sake of it.

This is why a dictatorship is the superior form of government.
I'm certainly warming to the idea

Id probably just insert a new rule stipulating that all suspensions are carried over to subsequent seasons if unable to be fulfilled in the current season.
But what about the points?
