How do you feel about the seating arrangements for Carlton Members at telstra dome next year? I am not impressed with how the Silver members are located in the rafters. I don't think the members have been treated fairly or the current board( of course not Collo as always stepped aside) has not done a great job for getting the best seats for all members.

i'll buy a silver membership and stand down the bottom. pretty good view and you have easy access to the the Locker Room. Not keen on sitting way up the top.

yeah but there are gold members, premium gold members, social club members, social gold members and AFL members with Carlton supporter packages that all pay a lot more than you do for your silver membership and hence get the best seats. Add to that medallion club and access one ticket holders and the only real seating left is on the third level.

Hmm, I would've taken unreserved seating myself. I know an Essendon supporter who is silver and her seats are right behind the point post about 8 rows up.

Personally I couldn't think of worse seating.

Do Carlton still offer that option. I took Silver but unreserved seating in 2002 when I was in Melbourne but I've returned to Adelaide and hence given up my membership.

Anyone know whether a Carlton membership (social club/life member) entitles you to a seat at Telstra Dome for Carlton away games? Or is it just home games you get a seat?

I'm thinking Round 1 vs Melbourne specifically but even in general is fine.

And is the minimum ticket price about $17.50 still (level 3)?

Just home games. Reserved seats cost extra (depending which level).

Spend the extra beans and get a better seat.... pretty simple the way I see it.

I am an AFL member along with about half a dozen mates, one of which is responsible each year for reserving (i don't know why we should but thats a different subject all together) our seats($5.50 per game) for all the Blues games at the Rink.
We generally always get seats down the bottom level near the bench but far enough away from the glass around the benchs so that we don't get strange reflections. Its also handy for bagging opposition players and applauding Prenda when he gets dragged.
