I hope you're right, but I'd like to point out that while I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist, I'm not the "sky is falling" kind. I was probably the least concerned Pies BF member regarding Dayne Beams and the spectre of the GC17, aside from possibly Didaka who had info straight from the horse's mouth. As for Marty, people that know him well have previously said he won't leave until he achieves everything he wants to, and he hasn't done that yet, so I'm confident not only he will stay, but he will play senior footy again this year.
After last week, and the way we brought the ball out of the backline, and the fact that Marty was BOG in the VFL, I would have thought he was a dead-set cert to be named to at least the extended bench. The fact that he isn't worries me a great deal.
Again, I hope you're right and I'm wrong on this one.

I'd agree 100% if it wasn't finals time. It'd disrupt our structure too much.
I'd tell him he won't be playing seniors in 2010 will he fixes the crap, because it is ridiculous at times.
yeah because bringing in a a player who hasn't played at the top level since round 7 would be a great idea.I expect they're saving Rocca for the GF. No Clarke either. But a strong team.![]()
Like I said, I'm not for doing it right now.Pfft Atleast he gets more than 5 possies per game and does it with 2 bloke hanging off his neck each game. Dropping him for N.Brown would be a f*****g joke.
If anything bring in Dawes to strengthen the forward line. He did well in the Adelaide game when swung forward.
Brown, Anthony and Cloke up forward is too tall for mine.
We need to stop the Saint's rebound, three talls won't help that at all.
Last week we dropped Leigh Brown and we lost. Go figure.

Agree with this
Im of the thinking that, especially if Gardiner withdraws, that Fraser could be that 3rd tall option, if required for around 30% of the game. He is far under-utilised as a forward
Maybe not the best time to start swinging him there though![]()

I don't know if Dick has enough grunt to play a final at this stage of his career.
I'd play McCarthy forward. His hard at it and I wouldn't be surprised if he could scrap a few goals during the game through sheer grunt up forward.
c) Marty Clarke may be pulling the pin.![]()
L Brown will be needed to smash Kosi at every opportunity.
