I registered here late last year and after a couple of weeks of silently lurking I delved into the realm of posting around Christmas time; and between then and now enough fluff and piffle has flowed forth from my poisonous keyboard that this post will bring up my 1,000th post.
So, in the BigFooty miletsone tradition:

Firstly, I'd like to thank Bluey and the BigFooty moderators *bows, scrapes, grovels, fauns, fauns, crawls around on hands and knees and whines pitifully etc* for their efforts in creating and maintaining this site and putting up with my nonsense.
Secondly, I'd like to thank all the wonderful BigFooty people whose thoughts, opinions and drivel have kept me interested enough to keep posting. I've come across some really wonderful people here - some of you are now on my ICQ or MSN lists, and I've had the pleasure of meeting some of you. I won't name names because I'll leave people out and that wouldn't be fair, but you know who you are.
Thirdly, I'd like to thank the trolls, ********s and idiots who have got a bite out of me. Those responses count towards the 4 figures
Fourthly, in the true fashion of Greg Norman, I'd like to thank my parents, especially my mother and father.
And finally, I'd like to thank the wonderful game of Australian Rules Football. The love of the game is the thing that unites us all and keeps us all coming back here.

The rest of this threads gives you the opportunity to give me the abuse I deserve. But I just want to thank you all for the wonderful times I have on this site.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and for the fun we have on this board.
I'm sure the atmosphere at the Cricketers after the game would have been rocking - especially if Joffa made another one of those hilarious speeches . But it was great to meet up with some of you before the game there.
As it was, I visited a few other drinking establishments over the course of the evening and met up with some more of BigFooty's wonderful people.
And to those I haven't met up with yet - hope it won't be too long.
