Bit of a tough one this week, the top 2 IMO pick themselves but from there you could argue 9 players deserve the remaining 3 spots.

5. Guthrie - Best game for the club off the top of my head, certainly for importance. Was brilliant.
4. Selwood - Best game of the year for the Champion.
3. Atkins - Best game for the Cats I reckon, was tenacious and tough and really hunted the ball carrier, wasn't easily pushed off a tackle either.
2. Danger - Danger being Danger, those big marks late pushed him up for me, and his ground work.
1. Sav - Breakout game? Big final, big opponents (reigning Premier AND a stacked backline) and he was awesome. Marked everything, used it well and cashed in on the scoreboard. Faded in and out at times which dropped him to 1 but if he can build on that kind of performance we have a real player on our hands. Barrass was EmBarrassed by the best Fijian in the comp.

Honestly though, the whole team performed so well that any of about 12 players could easily be put in the top 5.

What a fantastic team performance. No single player was terrible imo.
No Duncan, Danger down on usual output so they all stepped up. It’s great to see.
