No. Because a hermaphrodite is a definite physical condition which can be characterized by femme or masculine outward appearance.

Androgynous can be a physical anatomical condition, or it can be an adjective describing outward appearance regardless of what's in the pants. I used Androg' as the descriptive adjective to denote the ambiguity of the hermaphrodite state. Perfectly legal, no foul. Thank you, please drive through.
