I agree. Unfortunately my current graphic design skills are not up to it.

Tried a few versions before settling on the current design, including one with coloured backgrounds, but it looked disgusting.
What about yoinking foopyguy’s sepia/bronzed team logos and banners?

Would be cool if the background of each team’s plate was unique to the team
It would be cool. But it's also cool because Falconista has done something different too.

So Hate just checking if you could make sure this seasons Premiers have an Asterix next to their name so all future generations know its not a real Premiership.

let the Records show the Faceless men of the #7 got in early to control the Leagues Ladder.

Don't we need an Asterix for last seasons Premiers due to the dramas regarding their FF

Kennedy Parker Would it make more sense playing this game mid-week rather than Saturday?

With OOB having the bye the round before and Wonders having the soft-by the Sunday after, it seems odd to skew the game to Saturday considering OOB also play Sunday.

If we played it on a Wednesday or Thursday night, we could shorten the OOB's bye impact and we could give them more space to banter for their Rd 16 match-up.

Bizarre fixture. Ideally you'd want as many teams as possible playing the last two rounds, particularly with Round 15 being Remembrance Day and Round 16 being the final round of the year.

Change Rounds 13 and 14 with Rounds 15 and 16 and you've got yourself a fixture that sees as many clubs as possible playing in the final two rounds which will add suspense and interest to the very end of the season with finals spots up for grabs. The matter of clubs playing each other once before the return fixtures is irrelevant in my opinion.

The format of the match thread is still to be determined. I think the most likely arrangement is for the Old Boys to have two simultaneous match threads with the Bombers and Wonders during the week

Clarkes idea would resolve for this right?

Essentially have all teams play in the last week of the season before finals, only the Old Boys will play twice which negates the need for 12 of 13 teams to have a second bye
