Haha. Nah, at least you looked for a thread title first.

MILF probably deserves his own thread anyway.

God damn it. I just posted the funniest thing I'll ever post in my life in that Barry Hall thread and it was deleted 10 seconds later. My life is now completely wasted:(

What'd you say?

We are not happy about this!!!

Cats upset with Mumford move
THE Geelong administration is believed to be very upset with Shane Mumford's request for a trade to Sydney.

The Cats, who plucked Mumford from Bunyip and put several years into developing the raw ruckman, are believed to feel let down by his decision to follow the money to Sydney. Mumford played 18 games for the Cats this season while still being officially rookie listed.

The general consensus is that pick 28 will get the trade done, but we have wasted a lot time on getting this bloke up to AFL standard.

I dunno who my favourite player is now.

I used to be a massive fan of O'Keefe, but after last year my view of him was a bit shattered, though I'm starting to respect him again after the year he's had.

Jolly was one that I always really liked, he came to the Swans in the same year I started watching, and I didn't even know it was him that the 06 debacle was centred around until a few years later, and now he's gone to the filth.

Kirk is one I've always admired, I've never watched a Swans game without Kirk playing - Jolly either mind you, so **** that'll be weird.

Mick was another one, and he's retired now.

So I guess my favourite player is Kirk at the moment, hope he goes around for 2011 so I can farewell him. :(

Fair point, but u have to expect a few sacrifices if u want to keep your better players (ablett, selwood, chappy, rooke, bartel, etc) at the club, if this is the only casultity the cats face for trade week, it wouldnt be all that bad i guess?

Saving a frozen eskimo!

(Apology to Joe copyrighters)

White fingernails, red wine
We wanna make you, all fine
A lot of people, underground
Soph want's to get u here
Roomies ....gotta go straight down

Straight down ooo ohhh
Downtown, ooo ooh
Straight down, ooo ooh

There's a culture, everywhere
Smoke clouds, hang in the air
It's so loud, can't hear you talk
Cum on mate , take a walk to Sydney-town

Straight down ooo ohhh
Downtown, ooo ooh
Straight down, ooo ooh

The argument over god continues
Not in this house
All of us stand and point our fingers
At SCG the ground
All of us stand and point our fingers
Straight down!

Red-letter day, white heart
Its gonna tear Geelong, all apart
It's so loud; wanna hear you call
Geelong, are gonna fall straight down

Straight down
Downtown
Straight down

Yer it is pretty dissapointing from Geelongs POV, but I reckon it's not only the money, but the oppurtunity to play week in, week out. I know he played 18 games last year, but this is a good move for him, even though he lets Geelong down. I'd be pretty devastated too if was an Adelaide player, so I can feel your pain!

We put a lot of work into Shannan Grant, Gaspar, Rocca, even to get Jolly to where he is today...

'Things' happen Geelong... That's the way the cookie crumbles...

If he was surplus to your needs you would trade him in a flash.

Get over it.

The Jolly deal was just announced on the AFL website which, if I'm not mistaken, mean's the paperwork was submitted, which again, if I'm not mistaken would mean there's a good chance that Geelong have accepted a trade for Mumford.
