I was wondering if Cogs should go on the LTIL. This will give us a chance to elevate one of our rookies. Collard seems to be the one that has the biggest upside (but maybe the biggest downside).
Is it too late to do this for dreamtime at the "G"? It certainly would boost our indigenous stocks which are currently at 2 (Tambo and Edwards). I would hate to lose the Dreamtime match fixture because of the lack of indigenous players in the team.
I know it's an extremely lowly division, but Collard kicked 6 last weekend in the reserves and has the "magic" we have been missing up forward. I say give the lad a break and take a risk RFC! It may pay off handsomely.

I guess we have to work out how long Coggs will be out for (listed as indefinite) to see if he qualifies for the LTIL.

I think the minimum time on the list is 10 weeks, so putting him on now effectively means ruling him out for the season. I'd guess they'll be waiting for the verdict from the docs before looking at that, but with soft tissue injuries, I'd suspect they'd normally be hoping he'll be back ( for Coburg ) in a few weeks...add a few because it seems to be related to his knee rehab and taking it slowly/carefully, but still 4-6 weeks could see him back unless something 'major' is found.

There is also the tiny detail that unless there is a rookie we really want to play in the 1's, there is no reason to promote anyone, and so no reason to drop anyone to the list. Collard is playing for the Coburg 2nds currently, so I really doubt he's challenging for senior selection.
