Should Fremantle be forced from the comp, when GC come in, to eliminate the bye?

Freo - West Coast threads are always much more entertaining than Port v Crows threads.

The only team that has come close to being kicked out of the AFL is west coast, and they're still only one drug infused misdemeanour away from that.

Amazing how Kerr seems to have magically found that extra bit of gallop again. ;)

Very true.

Im still blown away by the fact that Adam Hunter, Daniel Kerr and Chris Masten are still on their list.

It's a ticking time bomb. :thumbsu:

So can any Fremantle fans actually defend their club, or come up with a reason as to why they should remain in the AFL?

All we have seen so far is typical Freo fans deflection, yet nothing of value actually defending their club.

I think it is the general consensus from all Freo fans that their time could be just about up. 15 years of re building and sacking coaches.

Where to next?

What did you expect Judy?

Thats losing 1500 games of experience would see the club shoot back up the premiership table?

Let's be honest here, Harvey did what no other coaches have done, got rid of the deadwood. Short term pain for long term gain.

Natural player development will follow, sticking to retaining draft picks will pay dividends.

But you know that, you're too busy getting you rocks off over your 1 win for the year. What is it 6 from the last 18.

Inspring stuff, you should definetly be on your high horse :thumbsu:

So instead the other local choice is a club who is led by a guy who allowed the drug culture to develop at his club by turning a blind eye during his reign as captain and then did the same thing whilst he was coach. Makes you want to put that Barry Bonds type asterisk next to the 92, 94 as well as the 2006 flag.

Freo may be an underachiever but they haven't tarnished the AFL brand quite like West Coast has. Then again no side has, have they?

Nothing works quite like an injunction to keep the skeletons in the closet does it 11hjw.

Actually i can think of one that comes close.

Just because of injunction and less publicity, I would say their off field record is far worse than ours.

Lol "Back up"? Your club hasn't been "up" the ladder before.

You made a prelim final, and let's be honest that is really all that Connolly could do with that list, it was pretty ordinary. But then, that wasn't really recognised and he was sacked.

Worked a treat so far. :thumbsu:

But you know that, you're too busy getting you rocks off over your 1 win for the year. What is it 6 from the last 18.

Inspring stuff, you should definetly be on your high horse :thumbsu:

I think any football follower will agree that we played very well. We were below Fremantle last year, and it looks like we have already overtaken them. Yet we also lost 4 senior players at the start of last year. :thumbsu:

You know you're in trouble when you class part of your "youth" as a 26 year old who has played 5 games.

Do you think Kerr, Hunter and Masten should still be on your list?

Very good players, looks like they've turned a corner, no indiscretions for some time, and have all played some great footy this year.

Especially Kerr, did you see his game on the weekend? I bet you did. :)

What is your point?

I also find it funny how you criticise others "comprehension skills" yet you really struggle to spell a lot of words and use the correct punctuation.

See now you and your little fanboi pal wambat need to prove that it was the Hawks that took out the injunction to back this argument up. I've still to see anyone do that.

Nothing screams out "We're the best at promoting the AFL Brand" like a West Coast off-season long bender.

So what is worse for the AFL a club that has underachieved or a club that has off field exploits to rival that of a season full of Sopranos episodes splashed through the media?

Just keep sweeping it under the carpet , everyone knows the truth and it will be exposed.I couldnt give a flying shit what the players do in their spare time... Bring me flags and success and im a happy supporter..... Although i do understand where your coming from... 17 years of complete failure you should have sympathy for the dorkers.

Dumb comment.

Whats your point? You're agreeing with me that the loss of senior players will correlate with a drop in form? Hardly seems fair.

I was at the game. So of course I saw his performance. A fantastic effort with no direct opponent in the second half. Looks like he can play well without a tag. Awesome :thumbsu:

My point in regards to the 3 amigo's well, I still cant fathom how a bloke with numerous charges against his name, being caught on tape to a drug dealer boasting about a massive bag of smack is retained, yet Chick, Cousins, Gardiner and Aaron Edwards cop the arse.

The mind boggles. :thumbsu:

So in the time you've been in the comp we've won 4 flags and you lot have won 3 and we're the failures? I like that logic.

Actually I can do it quite easily.

Not everything from the web has been removed.

That said you will just claim the sources are not good enough, despite a screen capture of the channel 7 site.

Dumb comment.

So you were happy with making a prelim final, and this is your definition of "up the ladder"? Usually a team is only happy with a flag, and not a one season fluke in which they won a single final, against Melbourne.

Setting the bar high I see. :thumbsu:

Whats your point? You're agreeing with me that the loss of senior players will correlate with a drop in form? Hardly seems fair.

The thing is how a club bounces back. we have shown this year that we will be a much better side than last season.

Fremantle have shown that they will most likely be bottom four for at least 2-3 more years.

It's quite humerous how West Coast have gone from Miles above Fremantle, to just below them, and now it would appear we have gone back above you.

The "Mind boggles" at how your club can be so pathetic when it comes ot developing a competitive list. :thumbsu:

Great player. With the emergence of Selwood as an elite midfielder this should take some of the pressure off of Kerry. Selwood showed, on the weekend, just how superb a player he is. :)

He was given an extended period to clean up his act, just like Cousins, and unlike Cousins, he has shown that he has turned a corner and is willing to do that for the club. As I said, no indiscretions for some time, and if he has another serious one, he will be gone, just like Cousisn and Gardiner.

But we are confident he has changed, and it also appears he has channeled his on field temprement. Copped plenty of scraggign tactics on the weekend and handeled them well. the only Daniel Kerr would have lashed out by half time.

Great player, one of the best there is. :thumbsu:

17 years of failure , you put any injunction spin you want on it... facts are facts your miserable club couldnt win a thing for 17 years , pretty much folded and now play homkes games in another state. classic.

You've turned into a real nothing poster, all you do is pop words into other posters mouths. At what stage did I say I was happy with a prelim? And surely you understand that finishing third as opposed to 10th is upward movement in terms of ladder positions.

Absolute muppet.

Fremantle have shown that they will most likely be bottom four for at least 2-3 more years.

So you have a crystal ball do you? You havent even given the side a chance to bounce back? After 2 games we are a bottom four side for the next 3 years. Thats a really dumb post on your behalf Judy.

Wow, one game and he's elite. Starting to sound like Parrot. Actually I think that might stick. What's even more hilarious is the fact that you wrote off West Coast against Port, hasnt the tide turned you bandwagoning **** :thumbsu:

Lot of errors in that post but I'll only comment on the topic of the post itself, Daniel Kerr did not handle the close attention in the 1st half well. He didnt get enough of the ball and did lash out against Josh Carr steering a a well aimed forearm into his face. He's still in there, and he will crack again. :thumbsu:

Well let's all hope you can move "up the ladder" again to 3rd, only to see you slide back down to 11th the next season.

Hardly something to brag about.

I think many of the media outlets and neutral supporters will agree. It's not only your performances but your playing list. It is absolutely terrible, jsut as bad as it has ever been.

You have players like Browne, Head, Murphy, Drum, Thronton who should not be on an AFL list, let alone actually playing.

The players play with no heart, your captain is uninspiring and your coach has shown he is out of his depth.

Not quite at the elite stage yet, still a way to go but he has shown he has the ability to be. He is beginning to emerge. His game on the weekend was one of the best I have seen for a long time, and add to that, Kerrs was even better.

Lol there is a difference between writing a side off and saying we will probably lose. 4 solid quarters of footy got us the win, rather than jus tplaying 2 and a half. :thumbsu:

You really are struggling. Geez. But hey, you could always make some gay innuendo jokes, that usually impresses people.

Daniel Kerr, 28 hard earned possesions and 4 stunning goals - A true champion.

Mate, you are stuggling, again, at no stage did I brag about finishing third. Again, because you are been shown up you start putting words into other peoples mouths. Very average on your behalf.

Lol, now you're using the media to qualify your statements? In that case it is byond doubt that the 06 premiership was tainted.

On the first point you'll get no argument from me, but to suggest Harvey is out of his depth, given the fact that he has won the same amount of games as Worsfold, since becoming senior coach is very questionable to say the least.

No heart? Again, after watching a year of the Coasters last year, or doormats, it's interesting to see you cast these stones now.

Not quite at the elite stage yet.

Epic back track :thumbsu:

Yes you're right, an enormous way to go, and when you say the best you have ever seen I think you're forgetting your namesake, or that bloke with the tatts on his stomach.

But you settle for good now I guess :thumbsu:

Lol there is a difference between writing a side off and saying we will probably lose...

Really? Care to explain that to me?

Lol sorry, but he copped with it well. :)

Daniel Kerr, 28 hard earned possesions and 4 stunning goals - A true champion.

Again extremely Parrotesque, by his own admission the opposition coach's admission and your Coach's admission, the tag was released and Kerr racked up 20 possesions in the second half running free.

A true champion beats the tag. :thumbsu:

Need a reminder?

Actually if you had done your reading (or absorbed Marks comments from the post match interview), you would realise they tried to put someone on him again but in Williams words "the horse had bolted".

If you had watched the game you would also realise it was not just one person.
