Should the AFL allow Essendon to play if charged with doping ?

LOL.

I am suggesting that players take the word of the club doctor regarding the substances injected into their bodies.

But I think you know that
Why do you assume that, your coach at the time, James Hird, didnt take the good Doctors advise about PEDS and he also ignored the AFL's advice, no reason to think your players are of any higher moral substance than the man coaching them.

structured buy out of bigfooty, then.................

So we're in agreement. Lotsa big talk - absolutely nuthin you can do to Essendon.

Come again?
You state it's all about your supporters, and that's all.
The day James Hird said Collingwood and Hawthorn were doing it, was the day he brought all supporters into it.
What do you think would happen if 300,000 to 400,000 supporters went to their respective clubs and demanded action against Essendon players taking the field?

Five eights of **** all?

Go ahead, give that a crack - I'm sure it'll be just as successful as the other notable BigFooty BigTalk initiatives.

The AFL are bigger stronger wealthier and have more connections than ASADA. Yet could not charge Essendon with any doping offences. Just Mismanagement, disrepute charges etc. So I fail to see how a small entity like ASADA is going to manage to lay charges and then penalise?
The AFL is bigger and stronger than the federal government???

It's amazing the people who think the AFL is this entity that can rule over all. If this scandal could be kept in house, then sure a curious Poli or Journo could be told "Don't worry about, it's nothing" from the AFL and there it would stay. However once this went public it was out of the AFL's hands and out of the AFL's control.

I have said it before and will say it again; if people want a true reflection of the AFL's "power & influence" take a look at the Dr Reid case. Here is a bloke that the AFL had on toast. At the very least very negligent in his duties. However a few of Reid's doctor mates pipe up. The AFL drop the action and cower like a frightened child in the corner.

You are very gullible if you believe that Guerra and others had no info as to what it was.

That answer he gave the press is similar to when cameras rock up to training and ask "How did player A pull up after he went off on the weekend?", and they respond with "Oh, I haven't spoken to him, so I'm not sure. He looks fine."

The players know damn well. They are just shielding their knowledge from the media.
:drunk:

One and the same. Big people in high places with major influence love football especially a major club like Essendon.
Wait! For a minute I thought you actually believed that statement. Then I realised you were trolling me, weren't you?

Yes, being a "major" club has helped you so far.

Evans gone.
Robson gone.
Corcoran gone.
Dank busted.
Robinson busted.
Hird busted.
Reid tainted.

AFL leaves door open for Essendon Bombers players to continue to play even if charged with doping offences by ASADA

THE AFL has the power to allow Essendon players to continue playing this year, even if they are charged with doping offences.
The Herald Sun has today revealed Essendon players will be issued show-cause notices asking why they should not be charged over the use of the banned peptide thymosin beta 4.

Sack them all

I definitely can't grasp how you ignore a players direct quote and say he meant almost the complete opposite!

Hahahahaha
Congratulations on being everything that the AFL and it's clubs would hope. And I mean, "gullible".
