should we have traded street

i went to a game last year where street was in the ruck and we were winning when he was taken off for a rest and chambers came on we were screwed over. bringing street back on fixed the problem but he should have stayed on.

Do you all think this was a one off or he is a quality playa

i would have liked to keep him and ditch chambers

no, we should fo traded UNCO

Of course we should have traded him.

He spent 5 years on our list and put together less than 5 quality games.

He was horribly lazy, had no desire to win or improve himself (watch him eat 3 pies and have 2 cans of coke at games), and lacked courage.

Unco doesn't have his talent, but has more courage and desire in his **** than Street has in his entire body.

Besides all that, we got one of the best deals ever for him. He was probably worth a 4th round draft pick, yet we ended up with Haynes and pick 40 for him.

I'm pretty comfortable with the Street deal, it's true that he may have been better that unco, but we are only talking degrees of uselessness. Also we wouldn't have got as much value for Unco - Street did the right thing and inflated his value at the death knell of his Geelong career. Also, although it's early yet, I'm happier with Loats than either of those two.

Still you never know when things come back to bite, with the benefit of hindsight, it would be King and Primus sharing the ruck, not Loats and Unco.

UNCO = CHAMBERS?????????????????

Yes, one of my creations which took off and has know stuck.

My other special is Gumby, which is used all over the place now when people are describing Mooney.

Exactly phat. The Street deal was practically daylight robbery.

Did the right thing trading street imo. He had market value at the time and totally agree with the statement that he isnt that much better than chambers, plus chambers throws he body at the ball and wants it more.

My mates & I call Mooney 'psycho' after that match where he just belted the other ruckman in the head at a ruck contest deliberately then complained when he was pinged for giving away a free and from memory reported...hehehe. He just needs to harness his rage and use it as motivation.

Chambers is an effective backup to King, which Street wasn't. He also gets a few kicks, which was never Street's strong point. He is probably two or three centimetres too short, but he always puts in 100%.

The Dogs might have taken Chambers if he was on offer, but we'd have got screwed over.
