LMAO!!
Let's not waste a spot on our l;ist for another year.
Remember what Terry said....." He (JON) will silence his critics this year"
LMAO!!!!
Stop being such a tool Deliberate. The same thread could have been written about Moore last year. And it would have been wrong, wouldn't it.
I wasn't one of those saying he 'would be a gun', in fact, I don't think many were.
I don't mind keeping him for one more year. Delisting him gets us nothing except for some childish revenge, and getting what, a player at pick number 70?
I'm happy for one more year. If 12 months go by and we are still at square one, then by all means delist him then.

Moore stood out like a beacon at Coburg from day one, when it came to know-how. JON stood out from day one at Coburg for his not-know-how. You really dont get it do you dude, number 8 pick, 3 years in the system and has played 1/2 a game in 2 1/2 senior appearances. That in itself says that the brains trust rate him highly doesnt it?
What i cant get over is this, why is it that when you look at most of the indegenous players, 98% of them have this x-factor, dazzling 6th sense type stuff, and the 2% that havent are in yellow and black.![]()
To add further...
Where o where are all the guys that have said in the past that JON will be a gun?
Where the heck are those wise football judges now? The same ones who bagged anyone who called out JON as a dud early.
You're not too vocal now![]()
You maybe have 1 more season on your pin-up boy JON.
Hope he comes good real quick.
The silence is overwhelming.....
Foot Note....And if anything will cost Wallace his job in the future, it will be his bad choices, and blind faith in poor footballers.
I'm still here and still of the same opinion. Not everyone develops at a pace that is prescribed in the RFC Supporters handbook. I think the kid has a future worth persevering with. I will happily admit at Pick 8 he was too high but that doesnt make him a basket case except int he minds of those who expect every draft pick to be a legend.
Can't say I've seen anymore than 6 or 8 Coburg games this year in full but he hasnt done anything to convince me otherwise. Yep, needs work on decision making and confidence, its not up to scratch, but in fact that reminds me a bit of Matt White and Kel Moore last year after their 2-3 years in the system. Both looked like rabbits in headlights when the ran with the ball. As for the knob who said the kid hears footsteps I can only recommend he watch a Burgers game, he's performed some pretty courage acts this year and doesnt mind supporting his teammates when the biffo starts either.
My biggest worry is where. Originally I thought CHB but that is obviously a re-think. I will be happy to admit I am wrong with JON but there is certainly space on the 2009 list ahead of a few, namely Pettifer, Meyer and Casserley.

come on man, this dude was number 8 draft pick...matty was given a life line via rookie list and Moore was what? in the 40s? You gotta get a better and quicker output from number 8 wouldnt you think? At a minimum, desicion making and confidence, should have been one the last things we should need to worry about.![]()
So the brains trust you are forever having a go at, if they delist him, will be right for once, just because you agree with the decision?Moore stood out like a beacon at Coburg from day one, when it came to know-how. Totally agree he was taken too high Cogga..but hey the draft is a bloody lottery. It doesnt really matter how they got on our list once they are on it they are all even money bar the odd exceptional Number 1 or 2 pick, i.e. Lids, Cotch etc and they are just no brainers. I think you are on the money here, JON's biggest problem is he was taken too early hence we all expected much much more. We shouldn't blame JON for that we should be blaming whoever picked him at 8.
Now that he is here he just needs to measured alongside all the rest of the cattle and in that comparison he stands up well, certainly against Meyer and Casserley and then those mentioned by the other poster above. The decision making and confidence shouldn't really be too much of a shock given what we have here is still only a 20yo indigenous kid away from WA trying hard to impress after injury and no pre-seasons.
Might be just me but I see something in him. FWIW a read of the Rawlings report would lend you to believe he does too. If I'm wrong so be it but for now I dont think this kid is anywhere near the cut off line for 2009

PRE has King signing a 2 year deal.
Saw him at the B&F, and wouldn't say his comraderie and appeal amongst fellow teammates will contribute in his favour either. He seemed a lot like his on-field persona....nervous and generally alone.
Means nothing if he gets a kick next year, but just saying that I think the general consensus is that he's not popular, inside the playing group and Big Footy.
Other than training, you don't tend to see the bunch together, and it was interesting to note the groups...
Hang on, are some of the playing group secret posters?????
