Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

The unique thing about this game is that you can have that 'imagine factor' come true.

By that I mean, like when your playing a game... say Far Cry or something, you wish you could do something like knock the stump out of a peer and unbalance someone or... chop a tree down and block someones path... Bad examples but the problem with almost every game is that they are limited by their features, that is what ultimately drives us to want to play another game, we get bored.

A game like this appears to be seamless in terms of what can be done, it doesnt end. I am interested to see just how detailed it is. It cant be that big can it? It's only a DS game. Id love to see what a Blu-ray game could do with this...

Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

DS are around $400 yeah?

Thinkin bout getting the mrs one for Christmas. Saw a dog game she'd like and she would most likely like this game as well.

Cheaper

DSL is around $180-200 new

DSI is $280-300 new

DS Lite's(The slightly older version) are available at JB for $188.

DSi's(With camera, SD Slot, Bigger screen) are $288 at JB.

The Nintendogs games are available for about $35 at JB too.

Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

ohok. cus i went to EB au before and it said $400.

Well she doesn't need a camera and I doubt she'll need an SD slot. Im only getting her two games... and she's not blind so she doesn't need a big screen lol.

gay? if you want your girlfriend to get into videogaming this is the type of stuff that you can play together.

I'm a real gamer, I don't HAVE a girlfriend.

sounds like one of the most amazing games ever conceived if they can pull it off

The only thing being pulled off is Nintendo's wang, by you.

Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

sweet.... KP is back :3

guess he got bored of the SRP board?

from Jackson on Neogaf (who is the creator Jeremy sclackza or however you spell it)

Speaking of clothing, can we make Maxwell crossdress? Can he put on a MAID OUTFIT or a WEDDING DRESS if we tell him to?

Oh Maxwell is secure with his sexuality, if he needs to rock a wig or a dress for his mission, he's down. (or for no reason at all...?)

ps: hmmmmmmmm.........

Coolest guy ever? I THINK SO! I predicted this Rooster Hat would take off. Can't wait to strut my stuff wearing that totally sick hat.

Anyone who doesn't get it is an 'arsehat'.;)

Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

how is this for weirdness.....

lead designer for 5th cell including scribblenauts, Matt Cox is leaving to start a church.

hope he hasn't burnt his bridges...... starting a church is tough, a friend was minister to one for 5+ years which only had 20 ppl..... very demoralising stuff >,>

http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2009/jul/25/new-interface-game-designer-returning-home-lawrenc/

Most everyone has a dream job: the perfect vocation in the perfect place that fits perfectly in the most perfect version of the world.

Matt Cox had his dream job — video game designer. For three years, it was exactly what he wanted to do.

Matt Cox works in his office in Seattle. The video game designer most recently developed “Scribblenauts,” which debuts Sept. 15 and earned “sleeper hit” status at the recent E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) trade show.

Matt Cox, a former Lawrence resident, plays guitar and sings at his church in Seattle. Cox is returning to Lawrence to start EastLake Community Church this fall.

Wanted, as in the past tense, because it’s no longer his job.

He wasn’t a causality of the down economy or of a dream turned into a nightmare or some other cruel twist of fate.

He walked away.

Turns out a dream job is only a dream job as long as another dream doesn’t come along.

“It’s not just like I sat down one night and weighed my options,” he says. “God was working in me.”

So Cox plans to found EastLake Community Church in Lawrence, a town in which he lived for nearly a decade. Next month, he’ll leave his dream job in Seattle and follow his vision of helping “people who hate church” find their perfect place to be with God. The church will begin preview services Oct. 11 and hopes to meet regularly after the first of the year.

Re: How LittleBigPlanet should have marketed their game

Would think someone might coax him out of the job if the game is a massive hit like it is looking to be.

Can't let someone that talented get away (Especially into the priest hood:eek:).
