Why do collingwood people keep saying this? You think you have this giant money pit and influence that you can get people anything they want?

What a load of bollocks

Brown paper bags.

You'd seriously say no to a Siddlebottom/Jetta trade?? I would take that in a heartbeat.

My post was in reference to a Jetta+pick for Caddy trade, which I wouldn't be a fan of. Sorry, I should've made that clear.

I wouldn't but It would be tough Turning it down

Bellchambers is almost excess to our needs, with Daniher coming soon and Paddy and Hille still there. If we could somehow bundle our picks along with big TBell and end up with Sidebottom it would be amazing for us, and maybe not such a big loss for you guys as you already have a lot of midfield stars.

When was the last time a 22 year old young gun playing great footy was traded to a team from the state he is currently living in?
What a joke. Sidebottom going to Essendon, North? And the offerings you guys are putting forward are even more of a joke.
Sidebottom is an elite runner, is extremely smart and perhaps his greatest strengths are his clean hands and decision making under pressure. He is averaging 25 possesions a game in his 5th AFL season, he was a first round draft pick and he has only shown promise. Why the hell would we take a pick lower than 5 for him?
I wouldn't even take pick 5 for him. He is much more valuable than that. His upward graph is similar to Pendles. Draft picks are WAY too overvalued by people who only see the hits and completely ignore the misses. Beams I would put in exactly the same category. Both are incredibly young and have proven they are excellent chances at being top 50 players in the league.

People talking about giving pick 10-15 for Sidebottom or Beams are kidding themsleves.

As for the Collingwood supporters considering taking Bellchambers for Sidebottom and a second rounder, sure we need a ruckman, but have a look at our list, we've got about 3 or 4 young guys looking for that position. Look at Jonathan Giles from GWS, if you keep your eyes open you can find mature ruckman around on AFL/VFL lists not getting an oppurtunity and ready to mature.
I would never trade a ready made young gun mid for a potentially good ruckman. Rucks are lotteries, most mature really late, we have been poor at finding them, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there.

Probably Moloney would be the only one that springs to mind. Maybe Wowoedin. Both cost a single first round pick I think.

Collingwood will have a few choices to make this year. IMHO. Pretty close to the cap and Cloke will be (rightfully) demanding top-dollar.

Jolly's locked in for another one.
Didak, Macaffer, Johnson, Tarrant, Buckley, Krakouer, Wood (don't know individual contract statuses) will be under some scrutiny, before they think about letting a Sidebottom/Beams go.

I am very happy that you have nothing to do with list management then. Beams will have a big year now that Ball is gone.

Again. Tell me why we would be trading out 22 year old gun midfielders on the up?

Maybe because TD has an unhealthy obsession with young ruckmen lol.

Wrong

Moloney was a fringe player and Woewodin was 26 - Traded two years after he won the Brownlow.

Not interested in beams for such a price, sidebottom is a different story. Expect he will stay put thought.

So you rate Sidebottom higher than Beams.

Can you give me reasons.

I have them on a similar rating.
