Don't know what happened, but hope it's 0.

Stand to win plenty from a mate should Jess finish above Harvey in North's B&F.

Sinclair smashed Picoane unconscious and bleeding with an elbow to the head behind play. Picoane has had stitches and will be having an X-ray to see if there are any bone fractures to the cheek or jaw.

Very cowardly.

Probably 4 weeks mimimum

Much worse.

Also much more damage.
They just said on radio that it`s not as bad as it looked (the injury that is). Hope that he`s ok and can play next week. The win was the best medicine.

Just seen it.

A deadset dog act from what i've always considered a fair footballer.

Weak Jess, weak.

Just saw it on TV over here, that was a shocker.
Worse than the flemming incident last week and collected him with more force.
He'll probably 5 weeks.

Just saw it on the delayed free-to-air coverage, pretty cowardly. Going on past events of a similar nature, I would say he'll get 5 weeks. (The Ablett incident which was accidental...even though this was deliberate, the game has evolved, probably a 5 week suspension heading his way)

I just saw it on 10 Melb and it is worse than the Fleming incident. I said he would get three for that and I reckon Sinclair will get 4-5 for this.

ha! you are obviously not listening to the same radio call as me. said it was a fallback to the early 1900's and could have killed him, luckily he just missed the temple

Despite what the AFL would have you believe, the resulting injury plays a massive part in the penalty.

If Lance has a broken jaw, Jess will get 5.

Bickley got six weeks last year on Wakelin, Sinclair should get no less than six weeks. Don't know much about jess Sinclair but that elbow and the deliberate force he put into it, makes Tim Fleming look like an angel. On top of this Stevo will go for two after hitting Holland to the face with a round arm fist. Laidley didn't want pretty footballers, I think his boys may have taken him too literally.:(

Thats why Freo got rid of Jess he always use to give the high elbow occassionaly. Hopefully Picoane will be alright and Jess gets what he deserves.

Fleming effectively got 4 weeks, as his guilty plea probably reduced his suspension by a week. Fleming was also quite fortunate that it was his first offence, and that Reiwoldt came back on and dominated, despite not even wearing a mouthguard during the incident. Sinclair was not afforded the luxury of having his victim re-appear, which may make the sickening clash seem even worse ...

Jess Silverchair is in big trouble.

(BTW ... so is Stevo!)

If it was behind play why was Piccione shepherding Sinclair ? At least get your facts right.

Running, off balance, saw Piccione coming and tried to protect himself. Sounds ok to me - reprimand.
